Redis is a company that builds fast applications used worldwide. In this role, you will lead sales for North America, focusing on generating and closing sales opportunities with mid-market and enterprise companies.

Responsibilities

  • Carry a designated quota for Net New Business revenue and your renewals
  • Establish Champions and Advocates in person, over the phone, and through web-conference
  • Build a Book of Business: Land, Expand, Renew, and Expand again
  • Execute defined sales methodology (MEDDPIC) and commit revenue through intellectually honest forecasting
  • Cold Call, Email, PG into CEOs, CTOs, VPs Engineering
  • Maintain clean CRM hygiene (SFDC)
  • Partner with Marketing, Solutions Architects, and the Ecosystem to quarterback sales processes in the most efficient and effective means

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience on a Sales team in a closing role
  • Ability to capture the unique vision of what Redis does and inspire executive sales prospects and customers
  • Excellent communicator verbally and in writing
  • Desire to win and play both tough and fair
  • Understanding of competing as part of a team
  • Track record of building, trying and learning new things
  • Possess a point of view but be low ego
  • Ability to maintain clean CRM hygiene (SFDC)
  • Ability to execute defined sales methodology (MEDDPIC) and commit revenue through intellectually honest forecasting
  • Ability to cold call, email, and engage with CEOs, CTOs, VPs Engineering
  • Prior experience with databases, infrastructure software, SaaS offerings
  • Worked closely with marketing and sales engineering in a SaaS startup
  • Prior experience in database technology, NoSQL tech, or software development
  • Results-minded and able to capitalize on the diverse strengths of people
  • Sales point of view embraces technology
  • Enjoyment in learning new things
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup
