The Role at a Glance
This role is a full-time, in-house position, responsible for internal and external communications to support Lincoln's Workplace Solutions businesses, including Group Protection and Retirement Plan Services.
This individual will develop communications plans including both internal and external communications tactics, and will focus on driving measurable results and building relationships with stakeholders in Workplace Solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Serves as a communications subject matter expert and works with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, goals and objectives for initiatives, and recommends, develops and implements communication plans and activities to most effectively reach target internal and external audiences.
- Develops communications content, including, but not limited to, leadership messages, intranet articles, video content, press releases, social media posts, messaging documents and more for Workplace Solutions programs and initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise and consultative communications guidance to leaders and internal/external stakeholders on various assignments and projects.
- Develops and executes communications strategies and tactics to effectively support change management efforts and employee adoption of new and evolving programs.
- Ensures communication activities align with overall corporate objectives and the corporate brand.
- Seeks to continuously improve processes and practices, brings innovation and creativity to day-to-day work. Partners with several teams internally (creative services, graphic design, brand, video production, etc.) to execute communications deliverables.
- Develops programs to measure effectiveness of communications efforts and reports out to stakeholders and communications leadership regularly.

- Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements, new tools, etc.
- Demonstrates relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g., managers, peers, and colleagues); ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
