[Remote] Associate Accounts Payable Specialist

They are seeking an Associate Accounts Payable Specialist to process and validate invoices, resolve supplier issues, and assist in the development of accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process and validate invoices for payment in accordance with approved quality standards
  • Resolve supplier issues and discrepancies effectively and in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development of accounts payable processes and policies
  • Prepare journal entries and manage records related to accounts payable functions
  • Collaborate with procurement and stakeholders on finance-related issues

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related experience or training
  • 0-2 years' experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, or a related field
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, specifically SAP or a comparable ERP solution
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual/multilingual skills are desirable
  • 2-4 years' experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, or a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
  • Experience influencing management and building teams
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
