Business Unit Control Analyst
Nestlé Health Science is dedicated to merging nutrition, science, and wellness to empower healthier lives. The Business Unit Control Analyst will prepare, analyze, and report financial data for US entities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to reporting policies and systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly and year-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
- Deliver accurate, timely MOGE & Globe expense reporting, including variance analysis to plan and identification of risks/opportunities
- Prepare intercompany invoices and ensure monthly intergroup balance alignment
- Support period-end close activities, partnering cross-functionally with R&D and Manufacturing
- Support budget monitoring, forecasting, and analysis of actual results, including personnel overhead and T&E
- Provide manufacturing fixed asset and CAPEX support
- Review and monitor open purchase orders and resolve PO issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable and stakeholders
- Respond to cross-functional inquiries and support management and financial reporting
- Participate in financial reporting and accounting initiatives, including working capital analysis, balance sheet clean-up, and ad hoc projects
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required, with preferred major in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years' experience in Accounting/Finance functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications to include Excel
- Strong communication skills: both written and oral
- Forward-thinking, and flexible to change
- Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data, including financial statements
- SAP system hands on experience preferred
- CPA-track candidate preferred
