Commercial HVAC Service Technician
This position is a remote position that is supported through our Charlotte, NC office. We are looking to add to our team by placing a service technician with Commercial HVAC Service experience. in this position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting units ranging from 2-70 tons. The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:
- Work as a team to fulfill customers needs
- Perform preventative maintenance at Commercial/Industrial sites
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
- Assist with unit installations
- Log HVAC equipment such as refrigerant circuit, electrical circuit, condition of equipment, etc.
- Ability to braze, perform leak searches, and evacuation process.
- Understands the commercial DX equipment up to/over 25 tons, exhaust systems, heat pumps, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, electric motor controls, etc.
- Complete log sheets for customers as needed
- Be responsive to supervisors and dispatching.
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.
- Be able to perform at a high level without direct supervision.
- 3 years minimum experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician
- High School GED
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed
- Universal EPA Certification
- Ability to understand equipment specifications.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding basic refrigerant cycle, various heating component, and air distribution systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Always represent the company well.
- Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a background check
