Project Manager (Salesforce / Alibaba Cloud Migration)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex Salesforce migration to Alibaba Cloud for a China-based operating environment. This role is accountable for programme execution, stakeholder alignment, and ensuring delivery milestones are achieved against a December 2026 go-live target.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery against a multi-phase roadmap (design, build, UAT, stabilisation)
  • Manage cross-functional teams spanning Salesforce, data migration, integration, and infrastructure
  • Ensure bilingual (Mandarin/English) delivery standards across documentation, workshops, and communications
  • Proactively manage risks related to time zone, language, and cross-border collaboration
  • Lead governance forums, including steering committees and executive reporting
  • Support communication related to test strategy and go/no-go readiness
  • Support communication related to cutover planning, rehearsal cycles, and production migration execution
  • Manage stakeholder expectations across Salesforce, Alibaba Cloud, and client teams

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 8+ years of project/programme management experience in enterprise SaaS implementations
  • Proven track record delivering Salesforce implementations or migrations
  • Experience with large-scale data migration and integration-heavy programmes
  • Demonstrated experience delivering in distributed, cross-border teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery models
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud or China-based deployments
  • Familiarity with managed packages (ISV solutions) within Salesforce
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or booking/reservation systems
  • Prior experience managing bilingual (Mandarin/English) delivery environments
Skills & Qualifications
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive structured execution
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and release management pipelines
