JOB SUMMARY

As a Perm Recruiter, you will partner closely with the Senior Account Director to deliver high quality permanent recruitment solutions across the UK market, while successfully selling Aquent’s permanent recruitment offerings to both existing and new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Senior Account Director to deliver high-quality perm recruitment across the UK market.

  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the perm recruitment team through strong delivery and commercial results.

  • Write compelling job adverts, conduct CV searches, in depth sourcing, and headhunting.

  • Screen and match candidates to client roles, supporting them through interview preparation and, where required, assessments.

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines.

  • Open to trying new approaches and processes to improve performance and results.

  • Leverage marketing initiatives and campaigns to support candidate attraction, client engagement, and revenue growth.

  • Use data and insights to track personal performance and improve recruitment outcomes.

  • Confidently record candidate and client calls and meetings

  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and recruitment technology to enhance sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment efficiency.

  • Apply best practice recruitment methodologies across role qualification, search strategy, and pipeline management.

  • Build and maintain exceptional client and candidate relationships while meeting agreed service and performance targets.

  • Demonstrate commercial awareness by identifying and driving new business opportunities through proactive relationship building.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, shifting seamlessly between business development and delivery execution.

  • Show grit, resilience, and persistence in achieving results and overcoming challenges.

  • Willingly support the wider team and contribute to shared priorities, including working on additional projects or accounts when required.

Measuring Success

  • Consistent achievement of individual perm recruitment targets

  • Contribution to overall perm revenue growth through high quality delivery and proactive business development

  • Speed and quality of perm placements, including fill rates, time-to-fill, and candidate quality

  • Growth in average placement value through effective role qualification and candidate management

  • Strong productivity and utilisation across both delivery and business development activity

  • 360 Degree Feedback

  • Committed to continual learning and professional development

Experience & Skills

  • Strong and proven perm recruiting experience in a competitive and constantly evolving market combined with a sales driven mindset and the ability to engage, persuade, and close

  • Strong track record of achieving personal revenue goals and successful, high-quality placements.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and accountable for results

  • Comfortable embracing new tools, new ideas, feedback, new technologies and ways of working, including AI-enabled recruitment solutions.

  • Able to work autonomously in a remote environment, managing priorities and workload effectively.

  • Staffing/Recruiting Agency experience.

  • Experience in recruiting marketing, digital, creative and tech sectors preferrable, but not essential.

  • Demonstrates resilience, grit, and a proactive mindset in pursuing business development and delivery goals
