QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you'll take a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our platform. You’ll work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to design automated testing solutions, improve test coverage, and continuously enhance our testing practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead testing efforts on an agile team focused on internal and external API development.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using C#, NUnit, and Playwright, primarily focused on API test automation.
  • Drive automation-first testing for new feature development and regression coverage.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test authoring, refactoring, and documentation.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and automation opportunities.
  • Perform targeted manual testing when needed to validate complex workflows or new feature areas.
  • Analyze test failures and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with development teams.
  • Contribute to testing standards, frameworks, and best practices to elevate code and test quality across the engineering organization.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new tools and methodologies as our platform evolves.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in software QA with a focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in C# (or a similar OOP language with willingness to work in C#).
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing.
  • Experience with data-driven test design.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT) to accelerate test automation development.
  • Familiarity with SQL for test data validation.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Testing gRPC and REST-based APIs.
  • Visual testing in automated UI tests.
  • Maintaining build pipelines in GitLab for automated tests.
  • Web application performance testing using dedicated tools, such as k6, JMeter, Locust, NeoLoad.
