Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst. This role will work closely with clinical and technical stakeholders to improve healthcare workflows, ensure data quality, and drive data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and data structures
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical and operational data
  • Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with clinical data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with interoperability platforms and integration tools
  • Experience working with population health or value-based care models
  • Background in nursing, medicine, or other clinical practice
  • Certifications in clinical informatics or healthcare IT
  • Experience in large-scale healthcare system implementations

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyze clinical workflows and healthcare processes to identify optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders (physicians, nurses, operations teams) to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Configure, implement, and support clinical information systems (EHR/EMR and related platforms)
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Support integration of clinical systems with other enterprise platforms
  • Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards for clinical data analysis
  • Provide insights to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and user training
