To be a successful SAP MM Consultant you will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. SAP Materials Management Consultant Qualifications: Strong understanding of SAP MM modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Material Planning. Strong SAP technical, configuration, and business area knowledge in MM/PP module Should have PP Module experience and recent Production support experience Familiarity with SAP MM configurations, customizing, and potentially some ABAP coding Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and end-users Ability to analyze and solve complex technical and business problems related to SAP MM

Responsibilities

Be able to configure the module assigned at a project level Manage projects of small to medium size and scope Translate user’s requests into application system solutions Analyze and optimize existing supply chain processes, focusing on procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Analyze system user requirements to define and design and implement system configuration, enhancements, and modifications Resolve business issues by working with various groups within and outside of the company (ie system users, company management, consultants, software support staff) Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems Define requirements for specific forms/reports Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test results Redesign procedures to suggested best business practices in concert with sap functionality Utilize query and reporting tools to provide flexible and timely information to system users determine the appropriate programming tools to supply information to system users Contribute to project planning, execution, and closure for SAP MM implementations and enhancements. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
