REMOTE Loan Servicing Compliance Analyst, I

Come join our amazing team and work remote from home! The Loan Servicing Compliance Analyst I will be responsible for the provisioning documentation for various audit and exam documentation. Also responsible for compliance testing and monitoring compliance matters. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $28.00 to $30.00. What you’ll do:

  • Source and compile/organize loan servicing procedural documents into a complete loan “servicing file” to respond to regulatory compliance audit/exams
  • Perform assigned compliance testing as assigned and promptly escalate compliance concerns.
  • Create notes of compliance meetings that include key highlights and action items for distribution to servicing management.
  • Monitor and assist with compliance implementation plans and routinely follow-up with the business to ensure timely completion.
  • Upon validation of compliance findings, perform loan level testing to ensure successful plan implementation of resolution and that finding is remediated. Report inconsistencies to business leadership team for further review.
  • Reviewing areas of non-compliance and making recommendations on changes to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance for both new requirements as well as external audit findings.
  • Escalate matters of continued non-compliance and/or recommendations for improvement to Director and/or VP.
  • Assist the other departments with any compliance areas needed to ensure the company meets its timelines.
  • Perform data analysis of all compliance related reports or data received or sent from or to internal or external customers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in banking/mortgage industry.
  • One (1) year previous compliance related experience.
  • State and federal data audit experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel.
