Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Physician Advisory Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling the receipt of new cases, ensuring proper system drafting and setup, and facilitating the case assignment/scheduling process. You will work closely with clients to ensure that their needs are met, and that our services are delivered to the highest standard.

Available Shifts

We offer a range of shifts to accommodate different schedules and preferences. Our available shifts are:

  • 9:30 am - 6:00 pm EST
  • 10:00 am - 6:30 pm EST
  • Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm EST

Major Duties & Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling the receipt of new cases, including reviewing and verifying information and requests
  • Drafting cases by entering information into our system, AccessDS
  • Working with clients to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Assigning and scheduling new cases to physicians for review
  • Ensuring that the assigned physician has no conflict of interest with the case assignment
  • Monitoring, processing, and tracking cases to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Providing regular updates to clients on the status of their cases
  • Communicating with clients to resolve any questions or concerns they may have
  • Ensuring that proper documentation is provided to clients for specified cases

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a clear understanding of company business lines
  • The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines
  • Computer literacy and typing skills are essential
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

This role requires:

  • Long periods of sitting and computer work
  • Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above
  • Supply and support your own internet services
  • Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work from home positions
