The Role

As a Customer Service Representative – Union Benefits Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in educating members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner. You'll also have the opportunity to upsell additional benefits to customers who are interested, but only if they desire to do so. No cold calling or high-pressure sales tactics are required – just a genuine passion for helping others and a desire to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to union members, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner

  • Educate members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation
  • Upsell additional benefits to customers who are interested (optional)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide the best possible service to our clients
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements for Consideration

* Flexible hours to accommodate your schedule and work style

  • Fluency in English (Bilingual in any language is a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous customer service experience in a similar industry or role
