The Role
As a Technical Specialist – Datacom, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our Datacom team. You will work closely with our engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our datacom systems, including video servers, programming, and hardware installations. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining uptime and performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and expertise to the Datacom team, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of datacom systems
- Maintain uptime and performance of video servers, programming, and hardware installations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and implement technical solutions to improve datacom system performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of datacom systems with other arenaflex systems and services
- Provide training and support to other team members on datacom systems and technologies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Communications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in datacom systems, video distribution, and encoding
- Strong understanding of network security principles and industry best practices
- Experience with investigation and reporting tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, and Infoblox
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Communications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in datacom systems, video distribution, and encoding
- Experience with video and audio merchant applications such as Sonify, QSC, Crestron, and Synamedia
- Experience with network exchanging and directing
- Experience with big business video dissemination backing, sustainment, and execution
- Experience with investigation and revealing instruments like Scene and Power BI
- Experience with seller related accreditations and preparing
