As a Key Information Researcher in our team, you'll work closely with internal partners to deliver elite guest experiences through intelligent and data-driven systems across Disney Encounters (DX).

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to drive ML methodologies and identify areas where business issues can be addressed creatively by applying ML.
  • Leading and working with cross-functional teams to execute and scale ML solutions to create magical experiences for our guests and push the limits of functional objectives.
  • Driving innovation, idea validation, innovation funding, and customer communications that lead to growing top-tier AI platforms.
  • Managing functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team.
  • Building standard techniques used in everyday tasks and working with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space.
  • Productionizing ML models in predictive analysis, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and more, and assessing their performance on real-world datasets.
  • Collaborating with other teams to achieve goals in improving system performance, coordinating with existing software practices that produce efficient code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and code reviews.

Required Capabilities and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in Python and predictive modeling, including TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and more.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
  • Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Article Arranged Programming Configuration Examples.
  • Master-level experience in structured and unstructured data (i.e., images, video, text, etc.) and SQL social and non-social datasets.
  • 2+ years of experience with Wind stream or another data workflow management tool.
  • Experience with version control software, like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and expected outcomes, relational skills, and determination to complete responsibilities.
  • Strong systems integration engineering skills, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions.

Preferred Capabilities

While not required, experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Docker.
  • Control frameworks.
  • Kubernetes.
  • Cloud platforms in GCP or another cloud stage.
  • Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Agile development techniques.
  • Automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development.
  • Data representation and data validation tools (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau).
  • Audio analysis.
  • Text analysis.

Education

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required. A Ph.D. in a related field is also highly valued.
