Sustainment Engineer - SEAD

Lockheed Martin is a leader in innovative technology solutions, and they are seeking a Sustainment Engineer for their Advanced Development Program. This role involves participating in a three-year rotational program that focuses on various Sustainment disciplines, providing opportunities for leadership training and exposure to program integration skillsets.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to Sustainment Operations, Information Systems & Innovation, Supply Chain Management & Depot Operations, Field Sustainment, Courseware & Training and Technical Publications
• Complete a cross functional business capstone project by the 3rd year
• Participate in team leadership training, networking, mentorship, and volunteering

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related engineering or business discipline with a strong interest in sustainment, operations management, supply chain management, logistics management, logistics and transportation, business management, general management, data analytics, logistics, sustainability and sustainment, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, logistics engineering, or engineering management
• Microsoft Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Basic understanding of Logistics and Sustainment
• Demonstrated analytical and leadership skills
• Direct involvement in process improvement initiatives
• Related work experience (co-op, internship or part/full-time employment)
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require government security clearance
• Problem solver/solution focused
• Ability and willingness to flexible location assignments, specifically remote locations
• Detail oriented, team oriented and strong interpersonal skills/communication skills
• Ability to effectively work with internal & external customers
• Ability to work independently and work with limited direction to accomplish project goals

• Experience in continuous improvement/process analysis
• Ability to work as a team and manage a small portion of a program or small program
