Mobile Commercial Tire Technician
Sun Auto Tire & Service is a leading provider of automotive services committed to integrity and excellence. They are seeking a Mobile Commercial Tire Technician who will perform roadside service and assist in the shop with general maintenance and service work.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to perform service calls
- Perform roadside service and emergency tire repairs
- Work on OTR, passenger, and heavy-duty diesel tires
- Mount, dismount, repair, balance, and replace tires and wheels
- Operate hydraulic boom equipment
- Service commercial fleet vehicles (dump trucks, transit vans, Econolines, etc.)
- Perform basic mechanical work (brakes, batteries, belts, and other components)
- Assist in the shop with basic maintenance and general automotive services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Skills
- Valid driver's license + clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and handle physical work
- Continuous lifting of air guns, tire bars etc
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Strong work ethic + “get it done” attitude
- Attention to detail and safety-first mindset
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, on-call weekends
- Experience with commercial, OTR, passenger, or diesel tires is a plus
