They are seeking a Patient Access Representative I to manage patient registrations and scheduling, ensuring compliance with company protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining patient demographics, insurance information, and source of referral
  • Handle all scheduling requests according to physician and authorization protocols
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures set forth by the employer
  • Confirm and update patient information from prior visits as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in registration, scheduling, and healthcare benefits is helpful
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and handle high call volumes
  • Previous experience in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with orthopedic or high-volume clinical backgrounds
  • Proficient typing skills and working knowledge of a Windows-based computer environment
