Mechanical Piping Engineer

The Mechanical Piping Engineer will provide technical services and engineering support for piping and mechanical modules in nuclear power plants, focusing on design, analysis, and communication with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants with a focus on piping and pipe support design and analysis
  • Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants
  • Develop business relationship with Westinghouse customers
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations

Skills

  • May 2023 - 2026 Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Required
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA Required
  • Experience with Technical Design and Analysis
  • Prior Internship experience
  • Prior experience with Technical Engineering Projects or Research
  • Engineering in Training Certification or desire to obtain with long-term goal of obtaining P.E
  • Must value safety and quality
