Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative I Healthcare, you'll be responsible for responding to telephone inquiries from consumers and corresponding documentation. You'll accurately maintain files of all patient account profile information and referral source data, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to multitask will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming phone calls and respond to consumer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Set up consultations for telesales agents and take messages as needed
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and listening skills, ensuring that every interaction is a positive experience for our clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient account profile information and referral source data
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team performance goals

Minimum Job Requirements

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center environment (call center type environments preferred)

• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Job Requirements

* Effective and empathetic communication style in managing inbound calls and communications with clients and team members

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Basic alpha-numeric data entry skills with attention to accuracy and quality
• Experience in a healthcare setting or insurance industry, including knowledge of basic insurance and third-party terms and medical terminology
• Ability to work in a team environment while meeting individual performance goals
• Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize a fluctuating workload and competing priorities
