Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our Transportation Analytics crew. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing data visualizations, and creating actionable insights to inform business decisions. Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:
- Analyzing large, messy, disparate datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Developing data visualizations to communicate complex insights to stakeholders
- Creating ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to centralize data from multiple sources
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights
- Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting and data analysis tasks
- Documenting processes and sharing knowledge with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous learning
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manage data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity
- Creativity and a user experience (UX) mindset to develop impactful data visualizations
- Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root cause business problems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business operations, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
