Job title: Computer Technology Assistant (Part-Time w/Track to Full-Time) Company: Northern Valley Online Application Consortium Job description: Old Tappan School District is accepting applications for a full-time Computer Technology Assistant. Old Tappan PreK-8 Public Schools serves approximately 750 students and 125 faculty and staff members for all technology needs and resources. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the desktop, laptop and Chromebook hardware components, Microsoft and Chrome OS. Interested applicants should possess technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

• Provide end user support for staff, faculty & students
• Repair of the District's 1:1 devices
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of peripherals, projectors, and hardware
• Assist in daily office and classroom technology equipment and software

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repair of hardware (PCs, Chromebooks, printers, projectors, etc)
• Proven hands-on technical experience with Windows and ChomeOS
• A+/Network+ Certification desired
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Criminal History Background check.
