Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative / Enrollment Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls (70-90 daily) with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Assisting customers with enrollments in various benefit plans, providing clear and concise information to ensure a smooth experience
  • Utilizing de-escalation skills to resolve complex issues related to patient care
  • Multi-tasking while speaking with callers and entering notes into the system
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to verify information and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information in a timely manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a high-volume call center environment (70-90+ calls daily) for at least 6 months
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues
  • Proficiency in using computer software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in the healthcare or insurance industry
  • Knowledge of benefit plans and enrollment processes
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Fluency in multiple languages
