What You'll Do

As an Experienced Customer Support Representative – Pet Pharmacy and Veterinary Assistance, you'll be responsible for:

  • Connecting directly with veterinary centers to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
  • Examining and resolving issues to determine suitable solutions for clients and facility partners, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
  • Completing accurate data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software
  • Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
  • Working with empathy, attention, patience, sympathy, and generosity to clients and partners alike
  • Working with a willingness to learn and grow, and being open to feedback and input from colleagues and supervisors
  • Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (sometimes via other stations depending on the situation) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to investigate solutions and record center note accounts, so being thorough is essential
  • Expecting a significant portion of the business day to be spent on outbound veterinary facility/client telephone contacts

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
  • Working with ownership, being a self-starter, and standing out to detail
  • Capability with Microsoft Outlook
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
  • Decisive reasoning abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to change as per the business needs of the organization
  • Flexibility to move schedule and stay at work longer than required on a case-by-case basis by the specialty unit
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
  • Ability to pass background checks
