Job Summary

As a Customer Care Representative II, Outbound Call Center, you'll be responsible for making outbound calls to internal and external customers to provide assistance regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims. You'll analyze problems, provide information and solutions, and develop and maintain positive customer relations. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to address operational challenges and customer service issues, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Initiating outbound calls to internal and external customers to provide assistance regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims

  • Analyzing problems and providing information and solutions
  • Operating a PC/image station to obtain and extract information, document information, activities, and changes in the database
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relations and coordinating with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Researching and analyzing data to address operational challenges and customer service issues
  • Providing external and internal customers with requested information, proficient in all basic customer service functions
  • Receiving and placing follow-up telephone calls/e-mails to answer customer questions
  • Seeking, understanding, and responding to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers
  • Outbound calls are conducted in the ZipDrug business area

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an automated customer service environment
  • Any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background
