About the Role:As an Independent Contractor (IC) with APPS, you’ll use your medical skills to complete insurance exams in a professional and compassionate manner. These mobile exams are typically conducted in a client’s home or office and may include:
- Blood draws and vital signs.
- Recording medical histories and obtaining client signatures.
- Collecting saliva samples and performing 12-lead EKGs (as applicable).
- Fully Flexible: You set your own schedule.
- We Handle Scheduling: Our team books your appointments so you can focus on what you do best: quality patient care.
- Competitive Reimbursement: Earn $25 per completed case, paid biweekly via direct deposit.
- Supportive Orientation: We provide a 6-hour orientation to verify your skills and walk you through our systems and procedures.
- Equipment Available: Tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges are available to rent or purchase as needed.
- At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience and confidence taking vital signs.
- Comfortable using tablets, computers, and scanners.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
- EKG experience is a plus (but not required).
- Preferred: Experience with pediatric or geriatric patients, or home health.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
