Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fundamental accounting functions, including reviewing accounting data, processing refund claims, and updating journal vouchers with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including communication with external contacts as necessary to ensure seamless resolution.
• Complete data entry of accounting information with high accuracy and attention to detail, utilizing arenaflex's financial systems and software.
• Modify and review daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests, ensuring compliance with arenaflex's policies and procedures.
• Distribute and store month-end closing statistics reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
• Perform various tasks and ad-hoc activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to support the department's/organization's achievement of goals and business objectives.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A High School diploma or GED equivalency; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is preferred.
• Aircraft/travel industry accounting experience is an asset, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to arenaflex's financial systems and software.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and systems, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision, prioritizing deadlines and meeting expectations.
• Intelligent and analytical ability to reason and problem-solve, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
