Tasks

The Opportunity

As a Sales Representative for Germany, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence across the DACH region. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and discovery calls to product demonstrations, proposals, and contract negotiation.

You’ll become an expert in our software solutions, building strong relationships with prospects, understanding their operational challenges, and showing how MCS can transform their rental business. You will work closely with Marketing, Implementation, Product, and Support teams to ensure a seamless experience from the first contact through to go-live.

A driven self-starter, you enjoy the challenge of generating new business, managing a rich sales pipeline, and delivering value at every stage of the customer journey. Equally, you recognise the importance of nurturing long-term customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to our continued growth in the region.

Requirements

You should apply if

  • You are a native or fluent German speaker with excellent English skills.
  • You have at least 2 years’ experience in B2B software sales, ideally in ERP, SaaS, or vertical industry software.
  • You have strong experience in cold calling, lead generation, managing full sales cycles, and closing deals.
  • You understand general business processes—purchasing, stock management, sales, invoicing—or are familiar with operational workflows in rental or asset management businesses.
  • You can visualise the full scope of a sales opportunity, anticipate objections, and navigate complex decision-making environments.
  • You’re data-driven—comfortable managing sales pipelines, analysing activity metrics, and using insights to optimise performance.
  • You're confident delivering product demonstrations, whether online or in person, and tailoring your message to different audiences.
  • You’re willing to travel across Germany for client meetings, events, and exhibitions (typically several trips per month).
  • You have experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into the rental or equipment hire industry.
  • Experience working with remote or international teams.
  • Understanding of software implementation processes.
