ABOUT THE ROLE Fullstack Academy Mentors scale their impact as Product Management professionals by training the next generation of Product Managers. In this role, you will support students through exercises designed to build knowledge and skills and promote grit, problem-solving and a collaborative learning community. Ultimately, you will prepare students for the next chapter in their lives as they seek employment in the Product Management field. Fullstack Academy is excited to extend our mission internationally through a partnership with a local education provider in Saudi Arabia. The partnership in Saudi Arabia, part of Saudi Vision 2030, aims to develop human capital and the digital capabilities of Saudi university graduates. In response to Saudi tech employers calling for more practically prepared talent, Fullstack Academy is going to provide the much needed training via our bootcamp model. LOGISTICS This is a contract role for approximately 15 weeks and requires an ability to support students and instructors in live classes meeting from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Riyadh Time Sunday through Thursday in a face-to-face synchronous online class experience. The exact dates noted below are subject to change. The contract spans 15 weeks:

• Mentor on-boarding to Fullstack Academy for two weeks in the middle of December. This training can be US-based and remote and requires work from 9am - 5pm on Central Standard Time.
• Additional training and preparation January 10-13
• 3 days cohort preparation and student orientation on location January 14-16
• 12 weeks of bootcamp instruction on location from January 17- April 9, 2024
• Classes meet from Sunday-Thursday 9:00am - 5:00 pm Riyadh Time
• Classes will be taught in English - knowledge of Arabic is not required
• The teaching team will consist of instructors and mentors (teaching assistants)
• US holidays that fall during the bootcamp will not be recognized
• Saudi Arabia holidays that fall during the bootcamp will be recognized

This role reports to a Program Manager and is supported by a collaborative academics team at Fullstack Academy and a team with the local Saudi partner to ensure an exceptional experience for each student in the cohort. MENTOR RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will create a positive class experience by:

• Promoting student progress during class worktime by supporting development of both competence and confidence
• Leveraging tech tools and connecting content to the real world by sharing industry insights and professional experiences
• Providing individualized student support during synchronous class sessions and outside class synchronously during office hours and asynchronously through timely communication
• Exhibiting professionalism and an ethical and empathetic approach when engaging with Fullstack staff, students, and the public

QUALIFICATIONS Eligibility requires the following:

• Minimum one or more of the following

• A minimum one year of experience as a project manager, product manager, associate product manager, or any product management related role
• AND prior experience teaching or mentoring in an informal capacity
• Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with the following experience:

• Bachelor?s Degree in any tech field AND minimum one year of professional experience as a project manager, product manager, associate product manager, or any product management related role
• OR three year?s experience in the product management profession
• AND prior experience teaching or mentoring in a formal capacity
