SENIOR PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

Renewable Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Senior Procurement & Logistics Specialist. The Senior Procurement & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting end-to-end procurement and logistics execution for all owner furnished equipment. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, engineering, finance, development and asset management. Ideal candidate will possess strong commercial instincts, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle for key solar, battery and EV charging equipment categories including PV modules, battery energy storage systems, inverters, racking systems, transformers, and EV chargers.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors and suppliers; support pricing and contract terms negotiations to meet project budgets and schedules.
  • Support in supply chain risk assessments and mitigation planning, including strategies to address tariff exposure, equipment shortages, and geopolitical disruptions.
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with project budgets, timelines, and technical specifications.
  • Issue and track purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and proactively resolve any supply disruptions or delays.
  • Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound equipment, including freight management and warehousing.
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance; maintain preferred vendor lists and support ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics – preferably in renewable energy
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
  • Proactive communicator and driven to advance team and company goals.
  • Rigorous attention to detail, work ethic, personal responsibility, work product ownership and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency – including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting
  • Driven, resourceful and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
