Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate I, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure a seamless shopping experience
- Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of integrity and accountability
- Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment
- Receiving merchandise and assisting with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
- Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment by maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- Maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
- Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management team
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $16.50 to $17 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for career growth and development, as well as a fun and supportive work environment.
