Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Call Center team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for Broker Services clients, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, booking rides, and responding to inquiries from the general public. You will also support and assist the Broker Services department staff as required and assist the Broker Services Manager with volunteer driver coordination and scheduling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer phone calls and book rides in accordance with demand response programs, including Medicaid NEMT, 5310 Grant Program, and general public demand response

  • Respond to inquiries from the general public
  • Support and assist Broker Services department staff as required
  • Assist the Broker Services Manager with volunteer driver coordination and scheduling as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position

  • High school diploma or equivalent, two years of experience in customer service required
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with a diverse population
  • Remain calm in stressful situations, work effectively in an environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google products, and RouteMatch software
  • Strong verbal communication, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to maintain confidentiality inclusive of HIPAA requirements

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center environment

  • Knowledge of transportation industry and demand response programs
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
