Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items.
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records.
- Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
- Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
- Completing resets and revisions as directed.
- Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves).
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
As a Customer Service Associate, you will have the opportunity to:
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
- Develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and operations.

Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Be willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prior work experience with arenaflex.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $15 - $17.5 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location.
