Welcome to Penguin Random House – the world's largest English language trade publisher. We're currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Post Production Associate to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of individuals in a fast-paced, creative environment. As a Post Production Associate, you will play a critical role in the final stages of book production, helping to bring our authors' stories to life. We are looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of the publishing process, and a keen eye for design. If you are a self-starter with a passion for books and a desire to contribute to the success of our company, we want to hear from you. Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of book projects. Review and proofread book layouts, covers, and other materials for errors or inconsistencies. Communicate with authors, editors, and designers to ensure their vision and expectations are met. Utilize design software to make necessary adjustments and improvements to book layouts and covers. Maintain organized and up-to-date production schedules and deadlines. Coordinate with printers and other vendors to ensure high quality and timely delivery of materials. Assist in managing and maintaining digital assets and files. Conduct quality checks on final products to ensure they meet company standards. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies in book production. Contribute to team meetings and offer creative solutions to improve production processes. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality agreements. Flexibility to assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
