Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the complex data pipelines that power our business. You'll work closely with our data scientists and engineers to identify areas for improvement and develop new solutions that meet the needs of our business. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and quality of our data, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our data meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build complex data pipelines to support business needs

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to identify areas for improvement and develop new solutions
• Ensure the security, integrity, and quality of our data
• Investigate and resolve issues and barriers as they arise
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our data meets the highest standards
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch analytical processing
• Create data pipelines that are adaptable, repeatable, and secure
• Investigate and resolve issues with data consistency and integrity
• Coordinate data from various sources to ensure that it meets data quality and openness standards

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, engineering, mathematics)

• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
• Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. master's or Ph.D. in computer science or engineering)

• Experience with REST API development and cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation languages (e.g. Python, R)
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
