Senior Remote Civil Engineer
Our client is actively recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to join their fully remote team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects from the comfort of your home office. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and management of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Your primary duties will involve performing complex engineering calculations, creating detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software, conducting site analyses (remotely where feasible or coordinating with on-site personnel), and managing project timelines and budgets. You will collaborate extensively with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory agencies via virtual communication channels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, geotechnical considerations, hydrology, and transportation design. Experience with project management software and a proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion are essential. You must demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience.
