Job Description
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our online community by:
Monitoring and moderating chat conversations
to ensure they align with our community guidelines and rules
Deleting messages
that violate our community standards, including but not limited to: + Hate speech or discriminatory language + Harassment or bullying + Spam or self-promotion + Inappropriate content or links
Banning users
who repeatedly violate our community rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process
Muting users
who have violated our community rules, to prevent further disruption
Investigating reports
from users about potential rule violations, and taking necessary action to resolve the issue
Collaborating with other moderators
to ensure consistency and fairness in our moderation practices
Providing excellent customer service
to our members, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Age:
18 years or older
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in community management, moderation, or a related field is highly desirable
Skills:
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information + Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools + Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
