QA Lead with Cannabis Control Board experience
Job Title: QA Lead with Cannabis Control Board experience Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Job Description: Innovee’s Public Sector client to support testing and quality assurance activities for a Salesforce-based application used for licensing, compliance, and inventory tracking. The QA Analyst will work closely with business, development, and product teams to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance through effective test planning, execution, and defect management. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with business and development teams to define testing scope and timelines
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools
- Ensure all solutions meet quality standards prior to release
- Facilitate and participate in UAT with stakeholders
- Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and reports
- Maintain documentation of test procedures and results
- Communicate issues, risks, and improvements effectively to stakeholders
- Support Agile/Scrum team processes and ceremonies
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in QA testing methodologies and strategies
- Exp with Cannabis Control Board (CCB)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
- Expertise in:
- Test planning and execution
- Defect tracking and reporting
- Regression and UAT testing
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce applications
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Testim or other automation tools
- Knowledge of licensing, regulatory, or inventory systems
- Experience in Cannabis regulatory industry (nice to have)
- QA or Testing Certifications

- Copado (release management)
- Testim (test automation)
- APIs integration with external systems
