Job Summary

As a Customer Service Associate - Logistics, you'll be responsible for monitoring delivery schedules, managing time-sensitive information and transactions, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials and products to customer locations. You'll work closely with common carriers, communicate with associates from other shifts, and resolve any transportation issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities

* Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Work closely with common carriers to ensure on-time deliveries by checking shipment status daily and maintaining transportation relationships
  • Communicate effectively with associates from other shifts to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery
  • Complete daily logs and checklists to ensure compliance with arenaflex's quality standards
  • Work with customers to resolve any transportation issues that may arise, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Identify cost savings opportunities for customers, contributing to arenaflex's commitment to driving down supply-chain costs
  • Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to learn

Qualifications

* At least 1 year of customer service experience required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred, with a High school diploma or equivalent necessary
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time-sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook, required, with the ability to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer-owned transportation systems and applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, with a flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to work First, Second, and Third Shift as needed, with flexibility with scheduling required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job, with a commitment to meeting arenaflex's attendance and punctuality standards
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete arenaflex employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
