Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions, and will be instrumental in driving the use of data as a key driver of business success.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble complex data sets, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provides critical support to business operations and decision-making

• Answer business-critical questions and provide expert knowledge on various business streams on D+ and Hulu to improve the customer experience and drive conversions
• Advance the scientific capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver exceptional data insights and products
• Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Utilize statistical methods (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Factor Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact across the organization

What You'll Bring

* Unbridled curiosity, high intellectual and scientific strength, and an enthusiastic pursuit of data-driven insights and business results

• A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering)
• 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an analytics and data science space with strong SQL, Python, or R skills for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with data at scale
• Experience delivering end-to-end analysis projects: taking them from unclear requirements, to a compelling story, open across different audiences, and eventually to a clear business outcome
• Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners, and to present to senior leadership

Nice to Haves

* Master's degree in a scientific field

• Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
• Experience with marketing landing pages, sign-up channels, and business spaces
• Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management
• Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Humor and a willingness to have fun
• Unique interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and tackle your work
