Our Data Science + Mix (DDSI) association is dedicated to supporting clients across the arenaflex organization, including the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products division, which encompasses Parks and Resorts, both domestic and international, Consumer Products, and Disney Interactive Experiences, as well as the Disney General Entertainment Content division, which includes Studios Content (Disney General Entertainment Content), General Entertainment Content, and ESPN and Sports Content.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, responsible for designing and developing data pipelines and systems that support our Media business. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues on various projects, including data pipeline development, data set design, and data visualization. Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop data pipelines and systems that support our Media business

• Collaborate with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues on various projects, including data pipeline development, data set design, and data visualization
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data approval processes, and data visualization strategies
• Work with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
• Develop and maintain automated work schedulers and code organization/advancement strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain data sets, tables, and views to support science models and visualizations
• Deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations

Advancements Utilized

* SQL (primarily Snowflake and PostgreSQL)

• Python
• Docker
• Gitlab
• Wind stream

What You Will Require

* Four-year college education in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Demonstrated experience and skill using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience working in a multi-cloud environment (Dev, QA, Goad, etc.) and DEVOP strategies for code organization/advancement
• Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
• Solid understanding of social data set plan and capability

What Will Separate You

* Experience working with large datasets and large data advances, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar

• Proficiency on cloud design and item contributions, ideally AWS
• Experience overseeing and conveying code utilizing a source control item like GitLab/GitHub
• Experience using Docker
