Key Responsibilities

* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals

• Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
• Contribute to workstation projects (global installs/renovations) as a project team member
• Remotely resolve and close demands using remote tools
• Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues
• Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management
• Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
• Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
• Install and configure local and network-based printers
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be prepared to travel as required
• Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedure
• Perform other duties as mentioned

All you'll need for success

* Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree + Equivalent professional training + Associate/4-year certification in Software Engineering, Data Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience/preparation

• 2 years of certified 'active' IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
• First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
• Preferred Qualifications:

+ A+ certification + MCSE/MCP or higher + Past IT foundation experience in Aircraft/Airport climate

Essential Skills and Competencies

* General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10

• Knowledge of workflow and with tagging systems
• Knowledge of VPN network and ability to investigate issues
• Ability to work independently and act in a cooperative, team-based environment
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
