The DCX Client Services - Home Based Assistant Controller will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client. The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills. Ideal Candidates will be Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet strict deadlines Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures Role Details Industry: Waste Management & Recycling Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA) Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA) Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient Salary Range: PHP 70,000 Job Responsibilities Accounts Payable (Primary Focus) Manage full-cycle AP process, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments Maintain vendor records and handle inquiries Monitor AP aging and resolve discrepancies Bank & Account Reconciliations Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Investigate and resolve variances promptly Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger Bookkeeping & General Accounting Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries and account analyses Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls Systems & Process Management Utilize Accounting Seed (or similar ERP/accounting system) for transaction processing and reporting Work within Salesforce to manage financial data integrations and workflows Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation Reporting & Support Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules Support audits by providing required documentation Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams Additional Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 3–6+ years of accounting experience, with strong AP and reconciliation background Hands-on experience with Accounting Seed or similar cloud-based accounting software (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc.) Required: Experience working within Salesforce Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations) About DCX DCX is a leading BPO that supports growth minded small and medium sized businesses in the United States.
