SAP GTS Consultant Remote Contract
Role-SAP GTS Consultant Location- Remote (USA/EST Hours) Long Term Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP GTS functionalities across global trade compliance, customs management, and trade preference processing. You will play a key role in ensuring international trade operations are efficient, compliant, and integrated with core SAP systems (ECC or S/4HANA). Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP GTS solutions for import/export, customs, compliance, and preference management.
- Configure GTS modules including:
- Compliance Management (Embargo/Legal Control/SDN)
- Customs Management (Export/Import Processing)
- Trade Preference Processing
- Integrate GTS with SAP ECC or S/4HANA logistics and finance modules.
- Support electronic customs declaration (e.g., AES, ATLAS).
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage project implementation and post-go-live support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, functional specs, and user guides.
- Conduct end-user training and testing (UAT).
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution in production environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Overall IT Experience : 12-18+ Years
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS implementation and support.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS modules and integration with SAP SD/MM.
- Strong understanding of global trade compliance regulations (US, EU, APAC).
- Experience with customs declaration integration and government communication systems.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment preferred.
- Familiarity with IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and PI/PO integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP GTS Certification (Optional)
- Experience in multiple GTS full-cycle implementations
- Exposure to SAP TM or SAP International Trade (S/4HANA) is a plus
