The primary focus will pertain to the preparation and prosecution of patents for highly valued patent portfolios, while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and counseling; due diligence). There is an abundance of challenging biotechnology work, thus, your strong scientific and technical background will be fully utilized, as. Ideally, you will also have excellent communication skills, such that you can assume increasing client responsibility. This is a very collaborative environment and they attract well-rounded professionals who can be entrusted with increasing client management responsibilities. Patent Agent Requirements:

• Minimum M.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related, with a preference for a Ph.D.
• JD, state bar, USPTO bar
• At least 2 years of full time claim drafting experience in biotechnology
