Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative - Airport Operations, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safely handling and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and accurate routing
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related risks
  • Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion
  • Utilizing baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate baggage routing and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction goals
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Work Environment and Schedule

As an airport-based role, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. Shifts will be based on operational needs, with a range of early morning to overnight shifts. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority and the needs of the team.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data

  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in English
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
