Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst – Network Protection Examiner Understudy to join our Incident Response Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in identifying, mitigating, and recovering from cyber threats. You'll work closely with experts to analyze incidents, develop response plans, and enhance our security posture. Key Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Analyst – Network Protection Examiner Understudy, your duties will include:
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions
- Ensuring solutions align with internal tooling, business processes, and departmental standards
- Managing project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
- Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
- Scope of work may vary depending on the team project
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity and threat mitigation standards, theories, and practices
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) preferred
- Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement preferred
- Major understanding of project management methodologies, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of technical environments required
- Openness to Agile philosophies preferred
- Coursework or experience related to cybersecurity preferred
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year preferred
- Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition preferred
- Ability to thrive in a culture that is open, direct, conscious, gracious, and empathetic
- Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor
