As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role under the guidance of the manager and technical lead, contributing to the design, testing, and implementation of applications using Java/J2EE. Your expertise will be vital in working with middleware technologies and databases to produce comprehensive technical specifications for integration services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and manage project needs.
  • Review and enhance existing programs to improve operational efficiency and adapt to new requirements.
  • Take charge of resolving issues and defects identified during testing, providing independent solutions as necessary.
  • Gather business requirements and create detailed specifications.
  • Drive the development and debugging of software utilizing Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Develop software using modern web technologies including AJAX, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Work alongside Business Analysts to design and deploy database schemas while defining database table attributes.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives and propose innovative solutions.
  • Provide on-call support for production systems.
  • Engage in database application development using SQL and JDBC.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, assisting them with technical challenges.

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years as a Java Developer.
  • Proven expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban), JSP/Servlet frameworks, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and Test-Driven Development with tools like JUnit.
  • Proficiency with modern IDEs and Git version control.
  • Experience developing web applications using Java technologies including JDBC, JSP, JSF, and servlets.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and self-motivation.
  • Strong leadership skills and capability to teach others.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and communication abilities, both verbal and written.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is $105,716-$132,144, based on factors such as location, experience, and market conditions.

Working Days: Hours and shifts will be determined based on business requirements.
