Lead the development of the Advice & Planning Platform for Portfolio Construction, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions are delivered. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, code, test, and maintain software components in accordance with industry best practices and coding standards. Mentor and guide junior software engineers, providing technical leadership and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency. Develop and maintain technical documentation for the platform. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the platform. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver features that align with business goals. Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the platform. Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members, both remote and in-office. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes. Act as a subject matter expert for the platform, providing technical guidance and support to other teams as needed. Proactively identify and address technical debt and make recommendations for improvement. Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards. Maintain a high level of ownership and accountability for the platform's performance, stability, and scalability. Continuously review and suggest improvements to architecture and design, in line with industry trends and best practices. Collaborate with other Lead Software Engineers to align on best practices and ensure consistency across the organization. Act as a liaison between the development team and upper management, providing updates on progress and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
