Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries with care and attention to detail
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, maintaining the highest standards of data protection and security
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and customer-centric
  • Appropriately communicating with customers, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and satisfaction
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution techniques
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that customers receive the support they need
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights
  • Providing feedback on call issues, helping to identify areas for improvement and drive growth within the team

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 wpm, with strong keyboarding skills and accuracy
  • High school graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in English and mathematics
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and clearly
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software
